Q: How will the Federal Government fund its Redemption Bond?
A: The Federal Government shall pay into Redemption Funds Account with the Central Bank, an amount equal to 5% of the total monthly wage bill payable to employees in the public service of the Federation and FCT. The amount paid into the CBN shall be used to redeem any Retirement Bonds issued.
