Bola Akindeinde -(Managing Director)
Mr Bola Akindeinde is the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of AIICO Pension Managers Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (UK) (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria.
He has extensive experience in pension fund management. Proir to his appointment, he was a General Manager at AIICO insurance Plc which is a leading company in Life-Pension Management with one of the largest retirement benefit schemes in Nigeria under its management. He was appointed the Managing Director of Aiico Pension Managers Ltd in October 2005.
Banjo Adedokun (GM ,Finance & Business Development)
Banjo holds a Bachelors degree in Banking & Finance from Ogun State University and an MBA also in Banking & Finance from Enugu State University of Science & Technology. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.
He was an Audit Manager-Tax at the accounting practice firm of Aloba, Awomolo & Co. and also had a brief stint as the Chief Accountant with Inter-Basic Nigeria Limited. He joined Wema Securities & Finance Plc in 1995 where he worked at various times as the Head, Internal Control & Systems, Head, Commercial & Consumer Credit, Head, Management Services and Head, Risk Management & Control before joining Aiico Pension Managers Limited in January 2006 as the General Manager Finance & Business Development in july 2007.
Wunmi Anjorin (Head, Compliance)
Wunmi is a seasoned accountant with vast experience in Financial control, Audit and Inspection, Cost Control, Business Advisory Services, Management Education & Training and Strategic Planning. He is the Chief Investment Officer for Aiico Pension Managers Limited.
Prior to joining Aiico Pensions Managers Ltd, he was the Head Internal Control and Audit with concurrent handling of Capital Market Investment of Oasis Insurance Plc.
He was secretary to two committees of the Board of Directors of Oasis Insurance Plc, namely: Investment Committee and Audit Committee.
Prior to joining Oasis Insurance, he was in active practice where he rose to become the Managing Partner of Messrs.Wale Raji & Co. (Chartered Accountants). He had at various times been Audit Managers to more than two firms of Professional Accountants, and was once the Pioneer Accountant of the First Community Bank in Lagos State, Iwaya Makoko Community Bank Limited.
He holds a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Lagos. He is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate member of both the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Patrick Onos (Head Operations)
Patrick is a seasoned Life/Pensions specialist with over twenty three years working experience. He holds a Diploma in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ogun State University.
He started his career with Great Nigeria Insurance Co. Ltd. in 1976 and later moved to Guinea Insurance Co. Ltd. in 1983. In 1992, he was appointed Senior Manager (Life/Pensions) at Corporate Alliance & General Insurance Co. Ltd (now Alliance & General Ins. Co. Ltd) where he rose to the level of a Deputy General Manager (Life/Pensions).
Prior to his appointment at Aiico Pension Managers Ltd, he was Head, Group Life & Pension Department of Aiico Insurance Plc, the position he occupied until November, 2005.
He is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management,. He is an associate member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Association of Pension Funds of Nigeria.
Mr. Onos is widely traveled and has attended several professional courses in Nigeria and Overseas.
Oluwaseyi Abe (Head, Investment)
Oluwaseyi has over 14 years banking experience spanning over money and capital markets. He started his career in the then lead Merchant Bank Ltd before leaving for taining in NAL Bank ( now Sterling Bank Plc) in the early 90s. He later came back to Leadbank Plc where he headed various functional departments in the Treasury and Investment Banking divisions covering treasury dealing, treasury marketing, asset / wealth management, capital raising, corporate finance and transaction banking. He was the chief dealer for Lead Capital - Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (Formerly Lead Investments Ltd.). He is a veteran in the Nigerian money and capital market.Oluwaseyi has a B. Sc ( Second Class Upper ) from the University of Ife; an M.Sc from the University of Lagos. He also hold an MBA degree. He is an alumnus of the Pan African University ( aka Lagos Business School - LBS ). Seyi is a fellow and governing council member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.Osayande F Obano (Head, Finance)
Osayande is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years post qualification experience. He started his career in 1990 with the Lion of Africa Insurance Ltd and moved to Merril Guaranty Savings & Loans Ltd where he headed Internal Audit & Control .
Between 1994 and 1995 he worked at DBN Group Sports Marketing where he was part of the team that designed and marketed sponsorship packages for USA ’94 FIFA World Cup & the effective take off of DBN Television.
He joined Aiico Insurance Plc in 1995 where he headed, amongst other, Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounting, Group Bank Control and General Accounts.
He holds a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Accounting from Auchi Polytechnic and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Samson Akinyemi (Head, Business Development & Marketing)
Samson has over 12 years post qualification experience. He started his career in 1994 as a graduate attache at Nigerian Reinsurance Corporation Plc. Between 1994-2001 he was at Aiico Insurance Plc where he rose to the position of Head of Actuarial Services and Assistant head of Pension. He later moved to HNB Trustees where he was Head of Pensions for four years. He spent a year at Leadway Pensure Limited as Head, Business Development and Sales before his appointment at Aiico Pension Managers in his current position in September 2006.
He is a graduate of Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and has a Masters in Banking & Finance from the same institution. He is a member of Chartered Insurance Institute for Management, Nigerian Actuarial Society and the certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.
Bankole Ekundayo (Head, ICT)
Bankole holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. He combines this with a fast paced IT career with experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise-level applications in key industries.
After trying his hands out in the Investment sector with Fundamentals Investment Limited, he started his IT career with Alliedsoft Limited as a trainee developer and rose to the position of Head of the database development team before leaving in April 2006. He also had a brief stint with Pensions Alliance limited as the Deputy Head of the ICT Department before joining Aiico Pension Managers in 2007.
His interests lie mainly in database security, application development using current technologies and business intelligence.
Fred Ladapo(Esq.) (Company Secretary/HR)
He is a law graduate of the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and a graduate of the Faculty of Arts (English) Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He was in private practice as a partner in the Chambers of Chief Ladosu Ladapo (SAN) & Co.
Prior to his appointment with Aiico Pension Managers Limited
he was the Company Secretary / Legal Adviser of Wema Securities and Finance Plc.
Fred is a member of the International Bar Association, Common Wealth Bar Association and an Associate of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.
